Short Term Volunteer Trips

In 2012, I made a leap and decided to get involved as a global volunteer.  I’m not sure why it took me so long to realize that I could combine my love for both travel and volunteering – but I’m so glad I did!

I’ve become involved with several organizations and now lead as well as participate in volunteer trips around the world, focusing on construction of decent shelter and community improvements.  These experiences are truly life changing.  The people you meet (both local and fellow volunteers), the communities who welcome you and the things you learn about other cultures in this setting are unparalleled.  The smiles and laughter, the tears of joy and celebration when the lifelong dreams of a family are realized…  It all adds up to an amazing experience unlike anything else I’ve ever experienced.

Check out the subpages on Africa, Asia, Europe, and The Americas for more information about past volunteer experiences as well as announcements for future opportunities!
